"Kingfisher Sakkat Bangalorean"

Cloudy early morning of 31 May 2009 at Bangalore. A day filled with lots of fun around with plenty of people rushing for the Run. Run! Yes it was the Sunfeast world 10K Run. Where all the enthusiast Bangaloreans were all fit and dressed to run. The total participants were 23,150 as per the Times of India news today morning.
Thanks to Sunfeast and Kingfisher for bringing the fun to Bangalore.
The sunfeast World 10K had various categories to run for.
- World 10K was majorly for the athletes with fit to marathoners and runners. The entire world was their to Run with 300 participants.

- Open 10K was again for the athletes who are fit to run with 8,000 participants.

All the categories were followed with lots of money to win.
The Majja Run with a contest called RUN IN COSTUME and the runners will be termed as "KINGFISHER SAKKAT BANGALOREAN"

The 3 winners are
Shujath Ulla Khan
1st SAKKAT BANGALOREAN was a condom lady the bold Ms. Ritu with a winning prize voucher of Rs. 30,000/-
Shujath Ulla Khan
2nd SAKKAT BANGALOREAN was a real clown, Ms. Clady who is young with heart. The first clown lady of India. Who in real life visits hospitals to cheer patient and kids in suffering in her clown out fit. well she deserves the winning prize money of Rs. 20,000/-

3rd SAKKAT BANGALOREAN who is none other than me. The theme for the costume was Mr.Techie today, which speaks and presents about the current scenario of tech world today.

These techies were a cornerstone lot with a great high strata profile few years ago. Well I term those days as hunky and term them as HUNK.
Shujath Ulla Khan
And today, I don't wanna comment any more!

The slogan which won me a prize was " I was a HUNK now I am a Junk" a write up on my costume.

The techies today are so found of occupying the space on the crime section of every news paper on a alternative basis or at least once a week a must.
Shujath Ulla Khan
It was my observation since few months on the same where in I could find techie being in suicide, murder, robbery, rape, sexual harassment, child abuse and women abuse you name it you have it.
The recession is much affected by IT industry today. You get to know the news of techies in every layoffs wheather Infosys, Dell, Satyam & Yahoo.

Shujath Ulla Khan
The effects of this has surely affected their lifestyle and livelihood of techies today. With no sex, no marriage, no pregnancy, divorce, dowry and more on.

The move of them from yesterday to today is very drastic as I explain from a high end gadgets like blackberry to a ordinary phones, from original softwares to pirated CD's, cars to 2 wheelers, Budweiser to Knock out, Hotel Leela place to Hotel Lila palace, Pattaya to Goa for a Holiday & even from getting perks they have started getting jerks.

On the Dias I was just given 30 Seconds to explain the costume I wore, well I guess more then 30 Hrs will be needed to explain it as it is full of pain and misery.

More over I enjoyed every second of being their and running for Sunfeast 10K. I met so many energetic people who love to be happy and make others happy. The one caldy is my most favourite of all whom I met - she is fun and happiness. Love you clady!. I felt as if like a celebrity and enjoyed each moment their.

Yup! I am the "Kingfisher Sakkat Bangalorean!" and that's fun to be.
Let's enjoy every moment and have more fun!

  1. Oh hello my friend Mr Techie!!! I just saw your post on my blog and was so happy that you got in touch!

Yes, didn't we have a lovely day yesterday? I haven't so much fun since last century! I love your picture of you and me! I think I was fanning you with my hat!! Could I borrow your pictures and post them on my blog too? Or is that piracy? Oh dear, if it is, then that chappie with the horns, and the giant CD on his bum, will be after me! Maybe I should just post a link to your blog so my other friends can see these pictures and get to know you too!

Hope you are having a lovely smiley day. I am, although my voice is very hoarse and my feet hurt.
